1795 Half Dime Genuine, Repaired. V-5, LM-8, R.3. Ungraded by NCS but showing details of XF. Identifiable as there are no inner or outer berries below UN of UNITED on the wreath, star 9 is distant from the Y of LIBERTY, and a diagnostic die break is seen from the rim, down through the upper right portion of the Y to the bridge of Liberty�s nose. A smooth, appealing piece despite the disclaimer by NCS. The surfaces impart a medium steel-gray appearance with a slightly deeper appearance near the peripheries. The evidence of the listed �repair� is virtually invisible. A highly desirable type coin representative.
